Privacy policy
JM Pro Gloss Detailing ("we") is a mobile car detailing service in Medford, Oregon. This policy explains what information we collect when you message us on Instagram or Facebook Messenger, including through our virtual assistant, and how we use it.
What we collect
- The messages you send us and the basic profile information Meta shares with us (your name and a conversation ID).
- Details you give us to book: name, phone number (optional), vehicle type and condition, the services you choose, and the appointment date and time.
- The location where the vehicle will be, only if you confirm it on our map page. Your phone shares your GPS location only if you allow it.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and give you prices.
- To check that your location is inside our service area, book your appointment, and get there.
- To contact you about your appointment.
We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Virtual assistant
Our virtual assistant uses artificial intelligence (Claude, by Anthropic) to reply to your messages. A member of our team can read the conversation and reply to you directly at any time.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run the service, which process the information on our behalf:
- FrugBotSoftware, our technology provider, which runs the virtual assistant and its server, and connects our Instagram and Messenger accounts.
- Meta (Instagram and Messenger), to receive and send messages.
- Anthropic, to generate the virtual assistant's replies.
- Google (Calendar and Maps), to schedule appointments, show the map and calculate distances.
- Cloudflare, which hosts our server.
We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep conversations for up to 12 months after your last message. We keep appointment records for as long as we need them for our business records.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it by emailing jmproglossdetailing@gmail.com. See how to request deletion of your data.
Children
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with its date.
